CoverShield ® Linear Fluorescent Halco Linear Fluorescent CoverShield ® lamps have a skin-tight coating that restricts glass shards, mercury and phosphors within the lamp’s envelope in the event of rupture. Halco CoverShield lamps are coated with co-polymer DuPont Nucrel, which is guaranteed to not become brittle or yellow. Halco T5 CoverShield lamps are coated with the highest rated PFA, allowing it to withstand heat up-to 600°F. All Halco Covershield linear lamps meet NSF, CFIA, USDA, FDA and OSHA regulations.
