I can't find my bulb on your website. Do you carry it?

It is definitely possible! If not, there is a very good chance we can get pricing for it and add it to our website for purchase. Please give us the details of your bulb, including the brand and manufacturer's product code if possible by using our help form at this link.
Are all of your items in stock?

Usually, although high demand may cause a temporary Back Order to be generated. If your order contains an item that is out of stock, a Back Order notification email will be sent to you providing you with the expected shipping date of your order. You will have the opportunity to cancel your order if the expected shipping date does not meet your needs.
What is your substitution policy? Are your name brand bulbs really name brand?

All of our bulbs are genuine name brand bulbs. No "off-brand" or "equivalent function" substitutions after your order has been placed! When you purchase from, the brand you select is the brand we ship. We guarantee it!
What do all of the specification lines mean on the Item Detail Page?

Each specification item, provides information about the capabilities of the given item broken down by manufacturer. Each specification is clickable for a direct link to its associated definition on the Lighting Definitions page. Click here to view all Lighting Definitions.

Can I pay with C.O.D, personal check, money order, or wire transfer?

Unfortunately, no. We do however accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover credit cards as well as Purchase Orders from qualifying customers.
Do you accept Purchase Orders?

Yes! Government, Educational Institutions (Universities, Community Colleges, School Districts etc.) and certain Non-Profit Organizations qualify for a NET 30 credit account without the need for a credit application. Other US Commercial customers may apply for NET 30 Credit Terms via our Credit Application. Click here for a simple step-by-step procedure outlined for getting started!
Do you offer quantity discounts?

Yes! Quantity discount pricing is available for select items and is viewable from the item detail screen.
My institution is Tax Exempt. Can we place Tax Free orders with you?

Absolutely! BulBConnection does not collect sales tax on purchases with a Billing address located outside of the state of Iowa. If your Billing address is located within the state of Iowa simply fax us a copy of your sales tax exemption certificate to 319.352.6278 along with the email address that your account was created under, and we will update your account to exempt you from sales tax collection.
Can I place my order by phone?

Do you ship internationally?

We do indeed! All international order ship via USPS Priority Mail, UPS or FedEx International Services depending on location and availability. You may "pre-flight" your order at any time by filling your cart with the items you are interested in purchasing, and proceeding to enter the Shipping Address for your country. You will then be presented with the shipping options corresponding to your selected items and your selected destination.
What state do you ship from?

Our orders ship from our warehouse in Iowa.
When will my order ship?

In stock orders received on our website before 3:00 PM central time ship out the same day. In stock orders placed after 3:00 PM central time ship out the following business day.
I need my bulbs tomorrow! Do you have overnight shipping available?

Yes! We offer UPS Standard Overnight, UPS Overnight Saver and FedEx Standard and Priority Overnight services to most U.S. locations.
What does shipping & handling cost?

Shipping & handling costs vary depending on the number, size and weight of the items selected in the order, the shipping destination and the shipping method selected. You may "pre-flight" your order at any time by filling your cart with the items you are interested in purchasing, and proceeding to enter the Shipping Address for your destination. You will then be presented with the available shipping methods with costs corresponding to your selected items and shipping destination.
Do you ship with the Post Office?

Yes! We offer a variety of shipping options including USPS Priority Mail, UPS or FedEx Shipping options for U.S. orders and international orders.
Do you offer Saturday Delivery options?

At this time we do not offer Saturday Delivery options.
Can I ship on my own UPS or FedEx Account?

Yes! On the Select Shipping Method page as part of the check-out process you are given the option to select one of the UPS or FedEx shipping options available from BulBConnection, or enter your own account number and then select the type of service you desire. Shipping done in the fashion will be billed Freight Collect to your specified UPS or FedEx Account.
